How the math works

Assumptions, in the open.

No black-box numbers. Here's exactly what we calculate, and where our defaults come from.

📞

Missed calls

Inbound calls × your missed-call %. Most SMBs miss 30–45% — defaults to 35%.

💰

Lost revenue today

Missed calls × close rate × avg job value. This is what voicemail is costing you monthly.

🤖

IzzyOps capture rate

Across pilot customers we capture 70–85% of previously-missed calls. Defaults to 75%.

📈

Recovered revenue

Captured calls × close rate × avg job value. Same close rate — these calls are no harder than your current ones.

🧾

Plan cost

We show the Growth tier ($399/mo). Starter is $199, Scale starts at $999 — recalculate as needed.

📊

ROI multiple

Recovered revenue ÷ plan cost. Customers typically see 8–40× depending on average ticket size.

Questions

Calculator · FAQ

Why does close rate stay the same?
Counter-intuitive but true: a caller who reaches IzzyOps is no harder to close than one who reached you live. They wanted to talk — voicemail is what scared them off, not the conversation. In practice we often see a slight lift because the AI is faster than a stressed receptionist.
Where does the 75% capture rate come from?
Across the cohort of pilot customers we've measured, IzzyOps successfully books or transfers 70–85% of calls that previously went to voicemail. The variance is mostly about caller intent (emergency vs casual enquiry) and the quality of your handoff list.
Does the calculator account for after-hours premium?
It doesn't — the default uses a single average job value. After-hours emergency calls in home services often pay 1.5–2× the standard rate, so the calculator under-counts for businesses with significant overnight volume.
What about implementation cost?
Setup is included in all plans. We don't charge per-integration. The only ongoing cost is the monthly plan; usage included up to plan limit, overage at standard per-minute rates (see Pricing).
